Climate and Pollution

Istanbul's climate is, in some ways, similar to Melbourne weather because it can be very hot and very cold as well. Istanbul's record high is 41.5 Â°C and as its record low is -11 Â°C. On average, Istanbul is usaully around 13.8 Â°C which is not very warm at all. Currently, Istanbul has an air rating of 60. this means that it is at moderate air quality and shouldn't cause any damage or harm to anyone. Pollution is not usaully a problem in Istanbul but is in certain areas. Overall it is very clean but it may sometimes get out of control. This is becxause of overcrowding because Istanbul has a very big population but not a very big country.

Governmnet and Ifrastructure Issues

The governmnet in Istanbul is very strong and overpowering and this is because the council is very weak and doesn't have much say in what happens. This leads to the government being able to make quick decisions without having to go through many people which can cause problematic situations. Other problems are the government's their lack of budget managing, lack of city's organization and not overseeing major cultural centres which results in them being done poorly. Another problem is that transportation services are not being funded enough, which is the interrupted by the lake-effect snow coming off the black sea, due to the cold weather.
