One big contribution that Jakarta has to its nation is its popularity which produces tourists. This then leads to shopping and money gaining opportunities.

 

Jakarta is also home to Indonesia’s National monument, Monumen Nasional. This monument symbolises the fight for Indonesian independence. The building was completed in July 1975.

 

Because Jakarta is Indonesia’s capital, it also holds many other national features like the National Museum of Indonesia, Hotel Indonesia and other statues of significant heroes.
