There are many problems in modern day Jakarta but here are the main ones

 

Over population is probably the biggest problem in modern day Jakarta and is getting worse every day. Because of the ever increasing population transport and other services are being needed more, leading to traffic and movement problems.

 

Transport in Jakarta is a big problem because there is not enough of it and it creates traffic congestions, therefore making it hard to travel around the city.

 

Flooding is one of the many problems in Jakarta that is natural and unfortunately hard to fix. The people of Indonesia try to alleviate land to prevent this but due to its low, flat basin like area, the water still gets to them.
